In-app permissions you accept, allow MyRedLine to ring a unique emergency tone, vibrate, and utilize your phone’s flash so that no matter the setting, the recipient is alerted of the emergency. (With this current version, if iOS users have their notifications silenced, the emergency ringtone will not sound. We are working with Apple to integrate this feature for future versions)

We understand that MyRedLines users may not want to share this personally identifiable information (PII) with all their emergency contacts. That is why you decide precisely what contacts to share with, including keeping this information to yourself or with medical professionals of your choosing.
MyRedLine is equipped with an in-app emergency button that, once activated, can quickly send a message to all primary contacts, to alert these contacts that you are in an emergency situation. Additionally, your current location information will be sent to your primary contacts to know where this emergency is taking place. We integrated this future so that you may always feel safe, even in unfamiliar territory.
